You are sitting in Raleigh anxiously awaiting your flight to JFK that will in turn take you to your final destination when mother nature decides to mess with you. On Monday we sat in RDU for hours waiting for our captain to get word from JFK air traffic control that we could take off. Unfortunately for us that take off happened about 20 minutes too late getting us into JFK at 5:12 while our 5:15 Germany flight was boarding and ready to go!
After running with bags on our backs from terminal 5 to 1 we get there just in time for the ticket agents to notify us the door is closed and no one else is getting on that flight.
Now what.
Talk to about 21 different people. Get rebooked for the same flight the next day. Pay a lovely change fee since we were ultimately the ones responsible for making our int'l flight because we didn't link it up with our JetBlue flight. Awwwesome.
So, Monday night Christo and I got an unexpected (yet kind of fun) night with my cousin Rich (thanks Rich)! Back to JFK for take 2 Germany flight on Tuesday.
Today is Wednesday, June 27th and we are officially in Berlin and ready to get this show on the road. Check back for pics and updates from each of our spots!

Apparently brussels airlines wants everything to b... So b creamy y'all! So weird but got a chuckle out of us on the plane.
Christo and I still managed to smile on long island railroad leaving airport on Monday night after such a mess of a day!
