Unfortunately, with our travel hiccups we only got one full day in Berlin. Our hotel the H10 Berlin was nothing shy of fabulous! Kudos to Christo for finding it at a reasonable price and making our first hotel a hit.
Berlin is a great, clean, fast-paced city! I was shocked how good of a "working" city it was, amazing public transportation options and many areas for high end shopping (not for us however,,, considering we have no extra space to bring anything back).
We enjoyed a full day of walking the city, watching the locals pre-game for the big soccer game vs Italy (sorry the local team lost but yay Italy!), site-seeing and trying typical German cuisine and of course beers!
