Prague, Day 2

Yesterday was a gorgeous Sunday here, a little on the warm side but thankfully no clouds in the sky and an amazing breeze!

Christo and I stepped out solo, no locals showing us the way but with maps and phones in hand we managed to accomplish exactly what we set out to do.

We started out the day heading to one of the many botanical gardens Prague has to offer. It was pretty well kept but the fresh lavender stole the show! It smelled amazing and the bees seem to love it as much as we did!

We visited Vysehrad Basilica, just beautiful. It is situated high up on a hill with breath-taking views of the entire city of Prague and the river. There is a neighboring park and small vineyard on the hill as well.

From there we took a tram to the marina and enjoyed drinks on the dock before dinner. Then, it was back to our hotel for the Spain vs Italy final (boo Spain)!
